“Tulsa King” is heading back into production in Atlanta and Oklahoma, as the Sylvester Stallone-led series has been renewed for a third season at Paramount+.

The mob drama, which launched in 2022, earned a great deal of buzz as part of “Yellowstone” creator Taylor Sheridan’s overall deal with Paramount. The Season 2 premiere, which dropped in September 2024, garnered 21.1 million views becoming the most-watched global premiere for the streaming service. The second season currently holds a perfect 100% critical approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

Per the below art, the Season 3 premiere will be directed by Jim McKay.

The cast includes Stallone, Jay Will, Max Casella, Andrea Savage, Martin Starr, Garrett Hedlund, Vincent Piazza, Dana Delany, and Annabella Sciorra. Season 2, which followed Stallone’s Dwight “The General” Manfredi and his crew as they faced new enemies in Tulsa, added Neal McDonough and Frank Grillo.

“Tulsa King” is produced by MTV Entertainment Studios and 101 Studios. Along with Stallone and Sheridan, executive producers include Dave Erickson, David C. Glasser, Ron Burkle, Bob Yari, David Hutkin, Braden Aftergood, Jim McKay, Sheri Elwood, Ildy Modrovich and Keith Cox. Erickson serves as showrunner.

“Tulsa King” is just one of Sheridan’s growing slate of series on Paramount+, which includes “Landman,” “1923,” “Lioness,” “Mayor of Kingstown,” “1883,” and “Lawmen: Bass Reeves.”
