As the former inmates were transferred to different facilities, they spent the last two years not seeing each other’s faces, not even once. Regardless, a presidential pardon might have allowed the couple to settle down with their children, but they found it tough to make the transition.

For Julie and Todd, the full unconditional pardon is a blessing, but their nerves almost stopped working as they tried to move on. Throwing them right into the outside world startled them, so they didn’t know how or where to take their first step. “I mean, that’s a sad thing to say because it is so horrific,” the dad of five said from a physical, emotional, and psychological viewpoint.

In a segment from the latest episode of Chrisley Confessions 2.0, Todd Chrisley stated that the pardon came with a scary view. He wanted to avoid it at all costs by going back to a hell like jail. Stepping out of the car made him look at Julie’s terrible, unpolished appearance. The Growing Up Chrisley alum thereafter contemplated whether he should leave his house.

Todd is known for his witty personality, so he joked about his first glimpse of Julie. She typically styled her hair with platinum dye, but over the last two years, she underwent a significant transformation. She remained brunette with dark hair roots. Sporting,it didn’t bother her as much as it did her husband.

Todd, who readily wanted to accept the way Julie appeared towards him, saved him from her. She shockingly gave him a jaw-dropping response, saying that even he was joking. He has likely never told her that it’s rough for him to stare at her. She nudged him to let him know that she had no other option but to go dark.
