Chase Chrisley recently opened up in an interview with Told People, revealing that their new docuseries is nothing like Chrisley Knows Best. He shared that the old show felt scripted, with everyone, including Savannah, playing characters. This time, the family is showing their real, unfiltered lives.
Chase admitted he wishes they could go back, but things have changed. The new series will highlight their raw emotions, struggles, and growth. Lifetime even noted that the Chrisleys don’t “know best” anymore, but they’re doing their best. After facing their parents’ imprisonment, the siblings are finally finding strength and healing together, one step at a time.

Savannah turned out to be the most responsible family member after authorities imprisoned her parents, Todd and Julie. She held the family together, and in the recent video, we could see how she was breaking inside. In Lifetime’s upcoming reality show, The Chrisleys: Back to Reality, the diva broke down in tears as she shared with the camera that she is scared her brother Chase might die.
In the reality show, viewers will see the family’s struggles after Todd and Julie went to prison. The show gives fans exclusive access to the family and also marks their comeback on the small screen. In the trailer, Savannah revealed that she was very concerned about her brother Chase. She explained that Chase is no longer ‘Chase’ at this point, and he has become a literal blank shell.
The camera focused on Chase, and in the background, we could hear yelling and how authorities arrested him at the bar. For those who don’t know, authorities arrested Chase in January 2025. According to Savannah, Chase needed immediate help, and a part of her feared that he was going to die. She started crying and added that it makes her afraid to even want a relationship with him.
Chase definitely had a rough time while his parents were in prison. He first broke up with his longtime girlfriend and then fell into alcohol addiction. However, after his bar arrest, he got his act together and started getting treatment. He revealed that he is no longer dependent on alcohol or any such substance.
