Chrisley Knows Best fans got a great surprise as Todd and Julie visited the area this weekend. The couple came to town to help their son move into his college housing, just like many other parents. Their son, Grayson, graduated from high school and is now pursuing higher studies at the University of Alabama. When he first moved to Tuscaloosa, his sister, Savannah, helped him with everything, as she was his legal guardian at that time.

Now that Todd and Julie are out of prison, they have resumed their parental duties. Many parents helped their kids move into their new homes, and Todd and Julie, like any other regular parents, showed up in their element. President Trump pardoned the couple on May 27 after they served two and a half years in prison for bank fraud and other tax evasion charges.

In her Unlocked podcast, Savannah Chrisley didn’t hold back as she critiqued her brother Grayson’s college dorm. After spending his first month at the University of Alabama, Grayson dropped by her studio to catch up and got an earful about his living space. Savannah called the dorm’s interior “disgusting” and said it didn’t meet her standards.

She had supplied him with furniture to store snacks and essentials, but joked that it might’ve made the room feel smaller. Grayson shrugged it off, insisting, “It’s not that bad.” Savannah wasn’t convinced. She said the brown-colored furniture looked awful and admitted she often felt tempted to wallpaper the place just to make it more stylish. Grayson, unfazed by her redecorating dreams, laughed and accused her of being a little too extra.

Todd and Julie were spotted along with Grayson at the City Cafe in Northport on Friday. Fans were elated to see them, and many even clicked selfies with the reality TV stars. The family visited the famous eatery for Southern breakfast and lunch. It’s a popular joint during weekends, and the couple appeared to be in a happy mood with their son.

That’s not all. Todd and Julie, along with Grayson, also visited Sam’s, Costco, HomeGoods, and other stores. They probably stocked up for Grayson’s dorm room and helped him settle in. The couple further stayed in a relatively new hotel owned by Nick Saban in downtown. It seems like for the next few years, we will regularly see them at Grayson’s several events and games.

He belongs to the class of 2028, and now that his parents are out of prison, they are trying their best to make up for lost time. Several speculations are going on about whether they will attend homecoming and football matches, but only time will tell. Fans are excited to see if the couple will indulge in typical Tuscaloosa traditions, such as barbecues and a visit to Dreamland for ribs. Fans look forward to seeing the family try out new experiences.

Furthermore, Grayson is doing great in his class and remains eligible to graduate with honors. He has so far made it to the Dean’s list and is on track to graduate soon. His sister has several opinions about his dorm rooms, and fans are waiting to see Todd and Julie react to the same.
