Todd & Julie Are Demanding PT$D Support After Prison Release — We’re Tr@umatized!
TODD & JULIE CHRISLEY
The Chrisley family rose to fame through their hit reality TV show Chrisley Knows Best. It followed the lives of Todd, Julie, and their children. In 2022, Todd and Julie were sentenced to prison for bank fraud and tax evasion in a widely publicized case. However, in early 2025, the couple was released after former President Donald Trump issued them a pardon. Savannah had been advocating for them for years.
Now out of prison, the Chrisleys are speaking candidly on Savannah Chrisley’s Unlocked podcast. They admitted to the deep emotional toll prison took on their family. They talked about their struggles, regrets, and the hard truths they faced behind bars. Well, they also made a demand for one specific thing, and viewers are praising their answer! What was it about?
90 Day Fiance: Todd Admits To Picking Fights In Prison! Threatened William Singer?!
Todd and Julie are now sharing their post-prison experiences publicly. The former revealed that he once threatened fellow inmate William “Rick” Singer, who was in prison for the college admissions scandal. The Chrisley Knows Best star said he reacted strongly after hearing Singer mention Savannah’s name, describing it as a protective father’s instinct. They had earlier tried talking, but that didn’t work out.
So, when Todd heard Singer say something about his daughter, he went to him and threatened to “rip his head off” and then “sh*t down his neck.” Despite being in prison, the celebrity mentioned that he can’t take it when he hears people talking ill about his family. Hence, it was his instict to send a threat at that moment. Well, Todd and Julie ended up talking about another alarming thing since their release! What is it?
90 Day Fiance: Todd & Julie Are All For PTSD Support! Believe All Released Prisoners Should Get It
During the recently released podcast episode with daughter Savannah Chrisley, parents Todd and Julie stressed how mentally tough prison was. They discussed how former inmates should be given PTSD support. The Chrisley Knows Best couple agreed that trauma doesn’t end when a person is released. Instead, it sometimes worsens when putting oneself back into family life.
Savannah opened up about feeling emotionally disconnected from her parents since their release. She said she loves them deeply but senses a gap that wasn’t there before. Savannah also shared how she could notice trauma triggers in her mother but not in her father. Todd explained why this disconnect might be happening. He said everyone in the family had a “reset” moment while in prison.
Even when they were dealing with the legal process. But Savannah never had a break. Well, she held the family together, supported her siblings, and stayed strong. Because of that, Todd believes Savannah’s trauma is still very fresh. She had to stay in control while others could pause and process. That emotional weight, Todd says, is something she hasn’t been able to release yet.
