Julie Chrisley has pushed for a new update in her bank scandal case. According to her, the previous judge mistreated her by adding an extra two years to her probation time. However, no such thing occurred, causing disappointment in the Chrisleys, who were baffled and tried to understand why the judge made such a decision. Therefore, Julie said in her filing that she no longer wished for the same judge to hear her case. The new filing happened on March 14, 2025, when she made her special plea. Many fans were curious about how life is for Julie Chrisley in prison. So, Savannah invited a former inmate of her mother’s FMC Lexington in Kentucky federal jail who lived with her. She took to her podcast, Unlocked, to give people an idea of her parents’ current life scenario.
The ex-prisoner Sharita Mona, who served an 8-month prison sentence, informed Savannah that her mom, Julie, has settled into prison life. She recounted the day she first crossed paths with Julie after she surrendered to the authorities. Based on her memory down the lane, she saw a smiling Julie who appeared lost in her own thoughts.
Sharita shared that Julie was trying to remember where she needed to go. Even if some people chatted with her, she stayed silent. She called her “a little card shark.” She revealed that Julie played cards with a few girls who were befriended by Sharita. The celeb is the one who introduced them to her.
After the conversation, Julie and Sharita’s friends fully immersed themselves in the game. But later on, the two bonded and established a meaningful connection. She thereby stated that Julie only used to get worried about her children back home. Savannah nodded her head to confirm it, and then she received a call from Julie.
