Where was ‘1923′ Season 2 filmed?

Filming for most of “1923” Season 2 took place at ATX Film Studios in Austin, Texas. Although the show initially planned to return to Butte, Montana, for its second season, the production ultimately shifted to Texas due to delays caused by the 2023 writers’ and actors’ strikes and tax incentives.

What happened in ‘1923′ Season 1?

In “1923″ Season 1, Teonna escapes a brutal boarding school with the help of her father and Pete, heading south to find refuge with a Comanche tribe while lawmen close in.

Back at the Dutton ranch, Jacob struggles with financial troubles as Whitfield threatens to take the land unless the Duttons can repay him.

Meanwhile, Spencer and Alexandra’s voyage aboard the HMS Majestic takes a dangerous turn when Alexandra’s ex-fiancé, Arthur, challenges Spencer to a duel. After Arthur’s death, Spencer is arrested and separated from Alexandra, who vows to meet him in Bozeman.

The season ends with Cara urging Spencer to return to Montana to help save the family’s future.

As Season 2 looms, key questions remain: Will Spencer and Alexandra reunite? Can Jacob save the ranch from Whitfield and Banner? And will Teonna’s escape lead to safety or more danger?

Will there be a ‘1923′ Season 3?

Although Season 3 has not been officially confirmed or denied, the fact that the series was initially billed as a limited series suggests that it is unlikely. In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Brandon Sklenar, who plays Spencer Dutton, supported this idea, explaining that the two seasons are “bookended.” He added that the story will “conclude,” supposedly with Season 2.

The “Yellowstone” property is hugely popular, and has already sparked two prequel spinoffs including “1923″ and “1883,” with a third, currently titled “1944,” and a fourth, originally titled “2024″ and later renamed “The Madison,” also planned.

Also, in August, reports circulated that Kelly Reilly and Cole Hauser were in talks to star in a sixth season, although no official confirmation has been announced.
